The location of this albergue was perfect, right on the Camino Frances and within walking distance to the city center. The beds were clean and each had their own bedside lamp and wall plug socket. Despite the large number of beds in one room, it was surprisingly well arranged. The staff, particularly a lady with a big smile, made our first day on the Camino a great pleasure. The breakfast, although simple, was satisfying with hot coffee, toast, jam. The value for money was excellent, with beds priced at only 12 euros. I highly recommend this albergue.

The kitchen was well-equipped and the beds had their own sockets, making it easy to charge our devices. Despite the crowded dorm, we had a good night's sleep.
Although there were a few drawbacks, such as the limited bathroom facilities and lack of natural light in the room, overall I would recommend this albergue for its convenient location and decent amenities.

I stayed at Albergue Folgueira for one night before starting the Camino. The location was perfect for my travel purpose, being on the route for Santiago. The large, modern industrial-style albergue had great amenities, including good WiFi, electrical outlets, laundry facilities. The lady who greeted us, despite not speaking English, had a big smile and made our first day on the Camino a great pleasure. The bunk beds were well arranged, with each bunk having its own bed-side lamp and wall plug socket. The price of 12 euros per bunk was also reasonable.
Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

The location, right by the river and close to town, was perfect, and the staff treated us with warmth and kindness.
Breakfast delights, but it would have been even better with a wider variety of options.

Good location to start the camino, right at the end of the village and in a cute place. Clean room with the option to pay for a top sheet, which was great for the warm weather in August.- Fully equipped kitchen and plugs in every bed for convenience during our stay
Breakfast could use improvement, with a lack of variety like fruit and a better coffee option. Large, noisy dorm with limited facilities like only 2 bathrooms and 2 showers for women.

I recently stayed at a conveniently located albergue near the Camino Frances, with a great view from the bar area. The room was spacious, clean, and modern, with comfortable beds and individual sockets for charging devices. The albergue also provided good WiFi, laundry facilities, and a well-equipped kitchen. Despite the large number of beds, it was still a comfortable stay. Portomarin itself is a charming village, perfect for starting the Camino. I highly recommend this albergue for its location, cleanliness, and amenities.
